Is anyone interested in getting Cal out to So.Ca. for either a dyno session or a seminar on FAST. There is a dyno in Hesperia that we can use that is very reasonable ($50/hour). Reg West would be willing to have a training/tuning session in his beautiful 1500 sq. ft. work shop if we did not want to do the dyno. It would cost about $900 (plane ticket and daily rate charge) to have Cal come out which could be split equally among the guys that want to participate. If we do the dyno, I would think that the max. number of cars would be 10-12 assuming it would take an hour for each car. That would work out to be about $150 per person.

Why not send your fast files to them canadians that are going super fast over an email have them modify them for you and sent right back, its much cheaper and its free.

If I had a fast I would do it also,,, it's always better to get a group of buick guy's and hang out talk and help with these cars just like old times , Thanx for thing of the group Jeff see you on the 22nd. Rafael

Pete, we are close to having the minimum amount of guys. We are targeting doing a dyno test then a question and answer at Reg's house and I believe I heard something about a barbecue. I will keep you posted.

Scott, Cal would like about 3 weeks notice and the dyno normally operates on the weekdays. Reg is checking out the possibility of a Sat. secession. I will keep you posted.

The car is running great! I just took it out for a spin, to gay a$$ Starbucks. :tongue: Some guy asked me if it ran 9's I said..........Yes :biggrin: Work I have two weeks off so that's good. I've been helping Lou out at the shop due to his reconstructive wrist surgery. He needs to stay off it for a while. So it looks like his left hand gets all the attention now. As far as Fontana earlier on I wasn't sure because of my crazy work schedule. I might go and watch with you since all the spots are full. You say the spare tire is the stock alloy wheel like mine? So I can junk the ugly looking spare under the bed and replace it with a rim that matches the rest? :biggrin:

I think Reg would sell you his BB Fast. Maybe he would consider a package deal with that big turbo you wanted.

Looks like we have enough guys to make this happen. We just need to contact the Dyno to see available dates. Maybe Saturday April 5th. I should get it firmed up in the next day or so.

We had to reschedule Cal's visit because of a conflict. We will be doing the dyno and the barbeque on Saturday April 19th.
