Just wanted to check my torque #'s for the cam's front end hardware retaining bolt. This is for a Comp Billet roller cam. My info states 45-50 ft/lbs. Is this correct?
Just wanting to avoid shearing the key from not having enough torque or breaking the bolt from using too much torque.

TIA

Frank

I've got the "Weber" setup on my Comp billet roller, and Dave said to go to 70 ft/lbs. on the bolt. I was a little skeptical at first (bolt looks too small), but the wrench snapped nicely at 70#, several times too.

I went 50 foot lbs. on my Comp cam and have not had any problems. Check the spacer and make sure you position it correctly. The notched side faces foward. If it is reversed, the cam sensor will not slip into place.

I will go with 50#s I dont have webbers set up and would be leary of going to 70.

Thanks guys

Forgot to mention this in my last post; use a little red locktite on the threads.
