I'm going to be putting my econo-ported GN1's on soon and am thinking about changing the cam out while i'm at it.

I currently have a Isky 214/208 cam in the car and it seems to run good. (no solid track numbers yet, but it did run 115mph at 15psi). The heads I have on the car are stock.

Would it be worth any HP to go to a 218/218 to help take advantage of the better heads?

I want stay away from the roller due to the cost.

Also

What is the part number for the ARP studs for the GN1's?
What is the part number for the ARP rocker studs for the GN1's with scorpion roller rockers?

We have had very good success using GM steel shim gaskets on stock block aluminum head builds.

As far as rollers being too expensive, this is about to change. Comp Cams now has a ductile iron roller cam which is a direct replacement for the stock cam. It has the gear on the cam.

It is the same type as used in other GM's like Chev and Pontiac rollers for years with good results. Nothing new here except they did one for even-fire Buicks.

Yeah, I'm looking to probalby go with a double pumper or sump the tank and use a good external with braided lines to the motor.

I'm really interested in that. I know many people who got burned badly with the "Budget" roller cam incident, but seeing this one is the right material (what OEM uses) I want to know more. When will it be available? What about cost? I *assume* the roller lifters are going to be the most expensive part of the package....

When will thi new cam be available? What grinds are available? Who will have it available? Last where can I get the lifters and push rods?
