I am working on a friends engine and it has a billet cam with an odd fire front. It had a Torrington cam retention setup and I forgot how the front is assembled. Does the large ring go over the nose of the cam and against the block and then the ring with the bearing or is this assembly reversed. I am familiar with the spacer and cam gear sequence. On this setup the previous owner had a stock spring and button that rides on the front cover. Since I have never used this setup I am sure if it correct. One thing I don't like is if the cam needs to be changed, you would have to pull the engine because of the bolt that goes into the back of the cam.
Thanks,
Jeff
