I have the motor out to replace the cam, about to put it back together and I don't understand how to adjust the cam sensor? I have been reading all of the stuff at gnttype.org, but don't know where to start.
From what I understand, when the motor is at TDC, the slot should be pointing towards drivers side, but where do I go from there? Or is that even right?

TIA
Ron

Looking at the TDC line on the balancer, to the left of the line (on the balancer) is ATDC and to the Right of the line is BTDC. Your timing scale is graduated to 16 degrees (I think), so scribe a line on the 16 degree mark and line that mark up with zero, then scribe another line on the balancer by 13 degrees and again, move the balancer back until the second mark lines up to zero (turning the balancer clockwise). 16 plus 13 is 29 degrees ATDC. This is the adjustment point for the cam sensor.
