Is there any horsepower to be gained by cam sensor adjustment?

"Generally no" is a good answer, but a different setting can be needed if the cam has been changed.

When a much different can than stock is used, you will probably have to "tweak" the cam sensor adjustment.

A GN built for high tens and slower probably will be fine with the stock setting, and stock cams work best there unless the timing gears are very worn.
