cam sensor how to set ?

I have read info about setting the c.s. on 25 degs. atdc on my indicator it goes up to 20 deg. then above that is a plus (+)sign so where do I set the mark on the harmonic balancer to. any help would be great thanks in advance

your looking the wrong way !!

when the crank is in the correct possition the timing mark will be to the right of the timing tab.

here is one way which you get you very close.

bring the timing mark up to tdc then scape a line on the balaner at 15 degree mark on the timing tab the rotate the scratch mark up to tdc and make a new mark on the balancer at 10 degrees so it total it will be 25 degrees...at the 25 degree mark i usually hit the balancer with a punch so the mark will stay there for future refrence.

then once you rotate (clockwise) till your 25 degree mark is at tdc then you can go on with setting the cam sensor.
