Cam Sensors: GM Delco vs the Standard PC16

Just FYI,
I bought both a GM Delco and Standard Automotive Products part# PC16 for $49 here:

Ok, I received both cam sensors yesterday, the new GM one off ebay for $90 and the Standard Automotive one...they are identical, the ink stamped part# and "made in Mexico" stamp, even the same color paint dots on the cap and gear..they are the same part.
Took my original stock factory one out, and it too has the exact same stamps and markings.
So, the Standard Automotive Manufacturing part for $49 is the same as the GM one for those of you concerned. Some have found this same sensor for $43 too.

I have been in the same situation with the crank sensors from NAPA for the hotair cars. Came in a different box and has the GM part number stamped into it and is half the cost of the dealer.

Yep ! Had my buddy call the local delco distributor who confirmed that Standard makes the Delco(and Borg Warner and one other brand) Cam sensor !!!

The price is unreal....I will be picking one up since I am doing a whole lot of work and replacing many parts.

yeah...some places are still subscribing to the "its discontinued and they'll pay whatever we want for it"....Place I got mine asked me "How many ???"...Called last week, they have access to plenty....
