Hmmm... That will be a potential future car for me. All black with satin black stripes & wheels, please.

Everything says winner except...

4000lbs, WTF??

I think its pretty cool. Pricey, but cool. Wonder how much it would cost to dump the supercharged in favor of a Precision billet 88...;)

Quick figures...
$45,000 Camaro
60 months
$750 per month

I think that is a bit much to be paying for what the car is. However, someone paid close to that for my current daily that I picked up used.... I don't feel so bad about the cash I spend once and a while on the GN now because its faster and not costing me $750 every month.

And a $40,000+ price tag.
heh, 40k+ for an ss, this, will be what, like 50 or 60??

nice to see it's making it to production...

could never see spending 50k+$ on a camaro (unless it's a first gen with a full LSx pro touring build)

im done with manual tranny cars too,
have one left, after that's gone, auto for life.

just really nice to see GM is getting some power into production,
i'm just not that impressed or drooling over it, and would never consider it for that price.

The Sticker on an SS is low $30's unless you add a lot of stupid stuff. I was going to buy one until I drove one.

I'm going to wait a few years for them to fix things and work all the bugs out that my 20 minute ride revealed.

What bothered you?
I have driven one for about 50 miles or so and I enjoyed it.

I saw the pamphlet at the chevy dealer yesterday. the automatic supercharged was rated at 550 hp and the manual ls3 block was 575 hp....with a 57k price tag "as tested"....

The Steering wheel was a huge turn off. It was designed by a stylist and not by someone who has ever actually operated a high performance motor vehicle. I tried for 20 minutes to find a comfortable hand position, then gave up. It's pretty sad when a 1986 Buick Steering wheel is preferable over a 2010 wheel.

The Designer of the Camaro wheel needs to be outed. I'm sure he/she is proud of it.

Then the quality problems started to show up. The brakes had a squeak up in the dash when applied (that won't get annoying  )... and one of the driving lights was burned out.

All in all, GM did a good job in convincing me to hold onto my $37K for now.

I wonder if they will fix your concerns with the 2011?
