Can Adjusting TV Cable Hurt The Trans?

I have my TV cable set with the factory proceedures. Can you damage your trans by moving it a click or two to firm up and raise the shift points?
My trans was rebuilt this spring so all the clutches, etc. should be in good shape.

No, you'll hurt it if you go too far the other way though.

If you adjusted it via the manual, then your later adjustments will be undone when you stand on it.
Seems like the tranny shop needs to adjust their work, IMO.

It is adjusted per the manual. The shifts seem good and strong. It is possible to adjust 1 or 2 cliks and not have the TV reset. I was just wondering if it would hurt the trans. Thanks.
