can i purchase a ta49 compressor wheel, and bolt onto a stock turbo?

would it be possible to buy the TA49 compressor wheel and bolt it onto my stock 87 turbo?
is it a simple bolt on?

would the compressor housing have to be cut to fit the wheel in?

i had a stocker with a 49 compressor wheel, so yes but you need the housing also. i had mine rebuilt and for the money it more cost effective to have the damn thing completely upgraded to a ta49 IT MUCH BETTER. and oh btw john craig and staff rock (chopper thanks!)
