Can I swap anything from a 1981 Regal?

Howdy all what if any parts could I use from a 1981 Regal for my 1985 specifically like the front bumper and doors would they interchange ?? - Thanks

If my memory serves 81-87 Body panels and other parts should be the same.

Hello,

Most part manuals list 82 to 87 parts being similar, but that could also include 1981. GM changed the body designation from A to G in 82, so they consider 81's different, but they're not.

There was a minor trim revision in 1984, so things like headlight bezels and tail lights are different (interior change too), but major body components didn't change. Bumpers, doors, ect, should be the same.

I used both doors and mirrors of an 81 rust free Arizona car on my re-paint of a 1987 T-type to 2004 Arrival blue metallic.
