just finished installing my te44 and the oil feed line (the pipe fitting on the top of the turbo) leaks like a faucet. can i use teflon tape on the threads into the turbo?

Sure you can,,teflon tape is used to lubricate the threads in a sence,,and seal somewhat...try it may work

Your local auto parts should have teflon sealer in a tube, probably by Loctite, besides Loctite is the company that fills the tubes for GM. :)

Yes you can...but be SURE you do not get any tape protrusion into the oil stream. If a piece came off it would almost certainly get caught between the turbine shaft and it's bearing...which would be a bad thing :)
