Okay, I see. Last time I used the Tlink it lights up all the gear lights as it should. I will doublecheck it again, but need to get an adapter for my new laptop.

The knock sensor was a new off brand torqued correctly, but still KR'ed, so I now have a GM sensor but no change. Everyone kept telling me to put it in finger tight or loosen it just a bit but not going there. And with this 3rd gear KR, I can hear it sometimes.

Have you checked the maf to see if its getting up to 255 or close to it? Is it a reman napa one?

Since you have ported heads, have you tried adding some fuel to 3rd gear to see if the keeps from detonating?

What is your timing set to?

009s are great injectors by the way, ive got them on my daily driver, and just stuck them on my white T in sig. 121mph aint too shabby!

Squid- I fought knock for years and the only I solved it was to get a powerlogger and a wideband o2 sensor. These are not cheap but the info you get will zero you in to the problem right away. Just a thought. Brad

BW, I tried two different MAFs, both hit 255 and still got KR. I haven't done it with the 60's because I cannot use TLink right now on my new laptop. I haven't added fuel with the chip in 3rd for the same reason, no scan tool. But I did add some alky and no change, it just seemed to slow the car wuite a bit like I was way rich. Timing is whatever the TT chip is burned, I forget exactly.

I am not beating on it until I get TLink back on it so I am just driving her right now. No time to get it figured out with all this underway time.

Brad, I have been looking at the data logger but need to do some more research. I also have to research the WB02, I forget what it was all about. 6 months on the water and you forget all kinds of good stuff... Is the datalogger going to save files as large as you want, or are you limited? What all exactly can the WB02 do for me?

Squid- The wideband o2 sensor shows the true AF ratio. The stock o2 sensor is not accurate enough. The Powerlogger from Fullthrottle is the way to go. You can record as much time as your laptop has HD space. The Powerlogger shows you the following graphs of each run you record.

IAT
TPS
Engine speed
MAF
Engine load
Coolant Temp
Injector Pulsewith
Injector Duty Cycle
Wideband O2 A/F Ratio-If wideband o2 sensor installed- A/F is the key to power

MAP
Boost Pressure
Waste Gate Solinoid %
Knock Retard
Battery Voltage
RPM
Vehicle Speed
O2 Sensor Volts
Spark Advance

The bottom on each graph is time of your run. This way you can see what the heck is going on after your run. This is alot safer to review what is going on with your car while parked. This tool is awesome. No more dangerous runs trying to use your Scanmaster. It cost around $ 260 and makes tuning so much easier than a Scanmaster. Good Luck- Brad

I have 009s and with TT chip had a similiar issues with knock. I started slowly decreasing WOT fueling and the knock went away and the car really started waking up. You can get knock running rich. Since you changed over to the 60s and still get knock, I'd still play some with the WOT fueling at safe boost levels. Without a good scantool, you're pretty much guessing, so make small adjustments with fueling (increase and decrease WOT fueling). One direction or the other will tell you if you're doing something right.
