Can not find the (VSS) Vehicle speed Sensor wire

I got some information ealier in the week about where to locate the VSS wire on my 97 GN but I can not find it. I was told to go to the green VSS buffer module and locate the BROWN wire in the blue connector with 3 wires. I can not seem to find anything under the steering column that is green except for a few wires. I then tried to locate anything that has two connectors on it. One with 3 wires and one with a single black wire but to no avail. I even dropped the steering column thinking it might be mounted on the top. Can anyone guide me in the right direction on how to locate this wire? I am installing a GPS system and it needs to connect to this wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's not on the steering column, it is to the right of it up in the dash...towards the radio. It is lime green, about 2"x3"
