The standard speed datastream chips will display codes on the Scanmaster. The fast update ones do not. If you have a fast update chip you can still read codes with the Scanmaster. You do it this way: key off, wait 10 seconds remove fast update chip and reinstall a stock style chip key on, do not start the engine, read codes on scanmaster key off, wait 10 seconds, remove stock chip and reinstall the fast update chip.
