I'm going to guess and say it is just ugly mid/late 70's styling. Here is an example of the Baldwin motion car.

motion performance

Hi,
Well, you should have peeked inside. That sucker sure is ugly, odds are even if it WAS a motion car, what was once, is no longer. These cars are pretty desireable, even if it's an L6. Snag it at a reasonable price, worry about the legacy later.

Looks like some beat up 68 camaro that has seen better days. It could be a nice project, but I doubt it's a motion car. What does the front look like? What color are the park lenses?

i didnt get a chance to look up close, the pics were taken from about 200 yrds away with my digital camera set at full zoom (12 digital i think)

Memory refresh time guys - were all Baldwin cars big blocks? Also did they all have ladder bars?

If i had a chance i'd snag her to they just keep going up in value, little far for me also.

Yea, I think somebody just stuck an ugly stripe on a once nice car. Kinda looks like a Mopar decal from the 70's AAR Cudas. Makes me sad to see cars like that just sitting out in the snow. I think that most Motion cars did have a big block, but I'm sure they probably snuck a few small blocks in, if the buyer specified.

the car is in pennslyvania, not arizona, come on guys you wont find rust on cars like that here :D . but all the body ans suspension bushings would be dried out :D .

Buickbert,

Where in Pa is this car? You can shoot me a private email if you like. Thanks,

Mark

That green car looks to have a 70's theme. Fat tires poking out the side and jacked up in the rear. Not to mention the mud flaps. Yeah, yeah...COOL!

I'd push the button on the crusher...

Just a guess, but, maybe a '68-'69 Camaro with about a '71 or so Camaro rear spoiler, very ugly homemade strip, I don't think that you are going to have to worry about anybody trying to fight you for ownership rights to that pile.

It's a pretty well beat 68 RS.
Judging by the sag in the center of the body, I'd say the the front subframe is rotted away from it's mounting points.

It's not a Baldwin or any other COPO car.

Eric

Not a 69..Round rear wheel wells say 67-68. 69 had the squared off wells..

I would still like to have it but it is still way to far for me..

i personaaly own one so i know that the car is worth good money even if it was up to the widows with dirt and rust, and yes even the starsky stripe  ...ive seen alot worse sell for 4k++ easy and thats a basic one with a factory 6 cylinder(vin will start with 1233 for the 6 and 1243 for the 8)...so yes its worth money,if they want to sell, take more pics and list it on ebay and watch what it brings..youll make money and all you did was take pics and list it...get the car and restore it,then you will make alot of money or just hold on to it..and im betting its not where it can be seen by the road or im sure his door would have been knocked on MANY times...anyone that thinks this car should be crushed should look at what these cars bring, frame rot ,no floors,whatever....by the way its a 68 camaro looks to have the rs package...get the vin inside the firewall and look it up...

Well, if you're going to make a resto-rod-racecar out of it, you won't have to worry about the expense or hassle of chemical milling (acid etching) the frame or body panels to lighten the car weight. Mother nature has already taken care of that for you. Somehow, I just can't see that as the next Barrett-jackson auction top dollar sale. Gotta be a crusher somewhere nearby
