Some people you just can't convince until they try it, like the saying goes "seeing is believing" until then maybe will just keep it our little secret. If I remember next time to the track I'll take along the video cam.

Whats Up wordski. This is Christopher In Tampa from oldspower I just found this forum its petty good huh?

Welcome 85 Riviera

First of all clear this up on your "other board"
There is nothing wrong with a Trans Go kit for any other trans BUT a 2004r. All of the other guys, especially Tim H are correct. Hell I wouldn't spend 70.00 on a 350 kit either. And they perform very well. So with that in mind and out of way.....( next time tell them to compare apples to apples and not apples to nectarines!)

My 2004r kit is VERY simple and designed that way for a reason. GM spent a ton of money to design these and they actually did very well. Simplicity is the key there. Overengineering here gets you in trouble.

I will put any one of my 2004rs up against ANY trans they have on that board for parasitic drag and actual HP transfer. Also in strength and economy. I have spend countless hours and 100K refining and testing this trans. There are no better parts on the market. PERIOD!
See the 3spd trannys will be a thing of the past in the next few years. If you do not believe me, watch and see.

They are lost in a prehistoric world....LOL:)

feel free to quote me.

The $70 was for the price of YOUR kit.All that my point was,if you can spend the money for a engine that will get you into the 12's,should you have a problem spending the money for a OD tranny that will hold up to the power?

Over here in Jurassic Park, we still work everyday refining and testing parts for TWO-speed transmissions.

Yikes! Gotta go! Here comes that pesky T-rex again...:p

That is not funny....well....yes it is..LOL

You been inland too long there Greg.....You know what I meant....ROFL
And just to clarify my thought. Not only the GM guys. I mean Chrysler is said to be working on a new "performance" style trans and Ford is always screwing with things and more people are making the aod and aode trannys stronger every day. Believe it or not , I have been approached several times and more of late to build the Japenese and BMW rear and all wheel drive trans'. I have had to decline strictly because of time. And I dont want to. But That is the new big push right now. Problem is the Japanese will come out with some ultra 6 sp auto before long , you watch. HAHA :)

We now have the capability to run the 50, 60, 70, and 80's, Motor Muscle with an OD, that will hold up.

Wordski....hehehe

You just wanna see me tar and feathered ...huh? ROFL
I think you kinda took me wrong in a sense. Anyway, didnt take them long to start the pile on ROFLMAO!

I wasnt panning their stuff. I was just saying there are more options than before. If everything was based on money, where would want and desire place? See they still look at everything from a monatary standpoint, to which there is no and will never be, an arguement.

Some have tried and with very good results. Those who have failed, you can bet the bottom dollar they took the "cheap" way out. If you cheat , they can be a money and mind nightmare.
