Still a little new at this stuff, but from what i understand i am now running a JL92 chip and about 22-23psi of boost on 100octane with 02s around the 770ish area or so. My understanding is if i swap my 92 and put in 100chip this will add timing, which means i will not be able to run as much boost right? so what would be the benefit of throwing the 100 chip in there anyway? more boost=more horsepower right? less boost, but more timing in a chip=s what?? wouldnt that come out roughly the same as far as performance? i was always under the understanding to crank the boost up with these cars and keep it tuned with enough fuel and air to get the ponies along with some good solid octane!! so bottom line is what do i gain by going to 100 octane chip. Im getting a good amount of boost now with the 92 chip as you can see. All i do is run 100 octane in there anyway. Sorry for the long thread, but i guess this is how we learn
