I was woundering if you could wet sand and polish the compressor housing on the turbo. If not can you have it ceramic coated or even chromed?.I just don't like the way the Lt-72 compressor housing looks and just wanted to see if any one has done anything to make them look better.Like they say"Going fast with class"Gotta look good....Thanks

Pull it off and start sanding, Same as polishing anything aluminum,Start course and keep working it

Wow, Talk about luck.......... Not sure if that's means good or bad.

There is a guy here in IL that has a polishing shop that did my turbos compressor. 3 day turn around and it looks great, it was like $40.

If interested, pm me.

I am doing my FMIC pipes now. It is not that hard and you do not need anything special, just time consuming. I just got a kit from like home depot that included 3 buffing wheels and some different compounds. I think it was like about 15.00 and some sand paper. I start out with like 320 and go up to 600. Then use my drill. Take your time and it looks really nice almost chrome.

Cool thanks for all the advice,It looks like I just might try to do it my self,I work on A/C and we polish bright work all the time,After we paint the jets.Hell just today there was a F-16 Thunder Bird in our hanger. The captian was there to sign paper work for a air show this summer,I think they do this all the time this way.Boy it was real cool to get to touch one of them. They have some 15,000 ft lbs of TQ/Thrust wouldn't that be a rush.Well thanks again....Tony
