My friend is selling universal fit covers for the G body (Regal).
Cover Craft Sentrex - $50.00 each
Cover Craft Technalon - $100.00 each
To order or info call Lorrin at 551-0444
He has other types/sizes also.
Tell him you saw it on this website.

Nelson

Does the universal car cover have the cut outs for the side view mirrors?

I'm not sure but I don't think so. Just give Lorrin a call and he can answer any questions as he is the rep.
Thanks, Nelson

Nelson,

Since Lorrin is the CoverCraft rep, do you think he'll have covers for other applications too? I'm looking for a cover for my motorcycle. Just curious...:D Thanks.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Yes, he can get covers for bikes too, in fact, I just gave Robert a quote for his Fatboy. It was lower than a price he got from a store here locally. I think if you both order 2 covers together, it might get even lower since you'll be sharing the shipping costs. Call Lorrin for more info as for the type of cover you want.

Rpbert,
Lorrin said maybe you should consider the weathershield material as it is lighter and a little less. Also I believe it has a 4 year warranty like the car covers.
Nelson

Hey Nelson, tell your friend sorry I didn't get back to him. I was supposed to get two covers, one for the truck and one for the T, but other expenses came up. THat was a couple of months ago. In fact that was the day I met you at Checkers. I'll probably be ordering one later.

Thanks, Paul

Nelson,

The fabric I asked him about was sunbrella, which has a five year warranty. It is also a heavier fabric than weathershield, and less likely to blow off during windy conditions (I have seen this happen on cars at work). My Sunbrella for either the SS or the Z covers have never blown off, even in high winds.

Steve,

Check covercrafts website for the available fabrics,

Rob

I think that i may be interested in a car cover in a month or two, since i don't drive my car on weekdays. How much does that sunbrella one go for?

Greg,

As I recall, I paid about $340 (don't quote me on that), including shipping, via Ron's, I'm sure Lorrin can make you a better deal....
You saw how they fit...

Rob

Lorrin just told me that Covercraft will raise their prices in March sometime so he is bringing in a new shipment of covers. So if anyone wants a special cover there will be NO shipping cost as it will be coming in with his own shipment. So if you need a cover, get it soon to beat the price increase and get free shipping.

Nelson,

Do you know when he plans to receive this new shipment of covers? I'm thinking of getting a few for my vehicles.:)

Keith

Keith,
He said he didn't put the order in yet but if you want a special or custom cover, he'll order it at the same time. He's just going to order common universal fit types of covers for his stocking inventory. So if you want a Sunbrella or Weathershield cover, you should order it soon. I use a weathershield cover, it's 100% waterproof & has a 4 year warranty. It's kind of pricey though, about $300. Rob S. uses the Sunbrella type and he likes them too.

Colors?

Keith,

Actually, weathersheild coves in grey or taupe, and sunbrellahas a pretty large variation in colors, including black, grey, etc... I bought the darker blue, and have had no problems with it... have one for my wife's Z and my SS, and the Z is outside (SS has seniority) I know the fabric is supposed to need re-application of the protectant after a period of time. But from July till now, there is still no need for it.

Rob

I knew I would find it...

The things you do when youre sitting at home sick...

Consider the prices are probably higher now... this thread is kinda old...
