Hi,
New Jersey Turbo Buick Owners I Have A Question For You.
I Just Checked With Dmv And They Said I Have To Have My 87 Turbo T
Inspected Because It Is Only 20 Years Old[25 Years Is Antique].
Is It Better To Let The State Inspect It Or A Private Owned Garage?
I Woluld Say Take It To A Pivate Owned Garage.
Thanks For Any Help...

For my GNX I have NJ Collector car registration. It is a triangular inspection sticker and available to any car any year but you are limited 3000 miles a year for driving. When you go to your local DMV ask for Collector Car registration. There is a fee (I think it is $25) and they will give you a voucher. You take the voucher to your local inspection station and they only check the odometer for accuracy, no emissions or anything else is checked. What they will do is record the odometer reading then ask you to drive the car until it turns over 1 mile...then you return to the inspection station and they give you the triangle 'NJ Collector Car' sticker which is good for two years.

Turboregal84,
What If You Go Over The 3000 Miles?
Thanks For Your Help...
