Car keeps stalling need help

[1984 t-type]

Just changed my chip out for shits and giggles. Now it runs longer about 5-10 seconds as opposed to 1-2, still has a real high idle but now the idle gradually comes down then it dies ( before it would just idle high and die right out after a second or two ) unless I give it gas at which time it goes back into high idle for a few more seconds then comes down and dies. Any thoughts with this new information ? I'm about to pull the IAC and check for damage also.
