Guys,
I have a rebuilt 200R4 in my street car with an issue. It was already in the car when i purchased it. It was rebuilt close to right as i have yet to break it. it does not flare and shifts right.

But when I rev the motor in park on the drive way, say over 4k the car will jerk slightly foward. Is not a whole lot but you can tell that there is something in the trans letting the car move for that second.

I know i can just stop reving it that high , but now it bothers me..

Can anyone advise what this can be? Id like to fix it before it messes anything up.

Louie,

How sure are you that the linkage is set right? It could just be that simple. God knows the stock setup sucks.

my th-350c does the same thing, in neutral or park, kinda jerks forward....dont know man, have a B&M ratchet shifter and the mechanism is set right...strange, maybe someone else knows more.

Well i got under there and saw nothing out of the ordinary. So i pulled the cable off with the lever arm in park. Started the car and reved with the same results ...

i have a turbo 400 in my gn and it does it and my race car has a power glide does it also. ive noticed that depending on who builds them and how tight they set up the clutches some do it and some dont.
