car shipping NY to chicago

Howdy all anyone have an idea how much it would cost to ship a car from NY to chicago ? I'm curious

off the top of my head, i'd guess 500-700 on an open trailer

Not sure but I thought that drive could be done in like 10 hours?

I think 10-12 hours for the drive - I cant get the picture any bigger unless I try to do it at work maybe ? If I post it on here It will cause me nothing but agita - post e-mail addresses and I'll send it if I can get it to work -

$500 was too much I'm going on a business trip and my company doesnt provide a rental car since the hotel and office are right across the street so I was weighing the option of shipping my car or truck to Chicago for the 2 weeks Im going to be out there but its not worth it - I'll rent one if I need it I guess
