I took my 84 T to a car show on Saturday and I didn't get one single "nice monte". I did get a lot of "what happened to the motor?" though. I guess no one here has really seen a hot air. Lots of the older crowd looked and said stuff like "oh, it's a Regal" and scratched their heads when they looked under the hood. I have it converted to 87 fan and radiator so there is lots of room in front of the engine so I think this is what threw people off. :)

Very nice car!

It's good to see that you kept the original rims. Alot of people don't care for the '84/85 style rim. I bet they are a b*tch to keep clean!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yeah, I kept the original rims because it looks so unassuming. It is still pretty much stock except for a cold air kit I made, a 237 regulator, Walbro 340, Casper's chip and homemade adjustable boost control. They aren't that hard to keep clean because it is inside my shop almost all the time. If the weather is nice, I'll drive in on Fridays.:D

Dceptcn, yes the show was in Cruces. Perfect day. No wind, rain, cold, ugly chicks. It was held at the Bravo Chevrolet. If Lincoln would get off his butt and put on another show, I'll be there again. I might even take my white 85T this time...if I don't sell it first.
