Heck no! That was the starter that saved the day!!! I just wanted to get it running the way it was when it drove in so to keep things simple I tried to reuse the stock (autozone?) starter and it wouldn't hit a lick. I had mocked up your starter when the motor was on the stand and got the bolts for it so all I had to do was take off the metal tab that had it set to work with a Ford style solenoid and bolted it up. Took 20 minutes tops from start to finish.
