Car won’t idle with new chip.

Installed 60lb injectors and turbo tweak chip yesterday. Car won’t stay running on its own. I haven’t been able to drive it yet since the ignition switch happen to crap out after a few starts. Is it normal for the car to not stay running until you drive it and the computer can learn?

I'd say Scooby Doo has your solution. you did follow step 1, yes? otherwise ECM memory doesn't know a new chip is installed and is pulsing injectors like they are the smaller ones you used to have resulting in stalling...

If you have a Translator...make sure it's set correctly for Erics chip.

If ur still running a stock maf make sure it has a screen in it

Are you running the stock MAF...or aftermarket MAF and Translator.

If the MAF doesn't report the correct airflow to the ECM, then you'll end up with driveability issues.

I'd swap in a known good MAF. Join Erics forum on his Turbotweak site and get his 2 cents. Or PM Eric here on this site.
