Started up my car drove it to the shop i was fine. Attempting to leave my started lil smoking a an wouldn't start. Car it back fired up drove it around fine. Drove it home wouldn't start up again. Starter fusible link was the first problem. What could be causing this short, bad ground? Starter brand new, fusible link new but blew out again.

Sounds like something is dead shorting. Trace out the wire on the circuit that keeps blowing.

I just remember the battery kept going dead. Don't know if something in that wire line was causing it hopefully he'll find something out.

Try the simple things first. Are your battery cables clean & tight? How about your starter connections & the starter itself? Everything clean & tight there? Then start tracing your lines. Electrical problems are usually a 5 minute fix... Once you find out what the problem is.

Good luck

Tracing battery line now. Starter and fusible link brand new. What ever the draw it did it again? Maybe the ignition switch I don't know. Shop time again #$#$!
