check around for carbon fiber hoods. I believe that g-body parts.com has plastic front and rear bumpers and aluminum brackets that are pretty light. also check around on some other gbody forums for various lightweight parts. ive got lightweight brackets on my regal.

Fiberglass is monumentally cheaper to replace when things go "not as planned".

You could have 4 FG hoods painted and waiting in line for the price of one "well made" CF hood.

Not as light as CF but darn close.
