I don't envy those of you living around or having to use the 405!!

How long they going to have it shutdown???? What a mess that's going to make. News crews are speculating there could be backups more than 30 miles long.

The only way to remove a existing bridge is to shut down the fwy. This will be 53 hours over a weekend. But they are only removing one side so somewhere down the road they will have to do it again.

The 405/605/22 were shut down a few months ago to remove the 7th st bridge. That bridge won't be rebuilt for a couple of years making it a PITA for orange county to get to LBSC or Vets Hosp.
