i just bought a cas v4 but is missing the pass side braket
does anyone have a picture of one or know where and how it suppose to be mounted ,so i can make one as close as possible to the original
or a picture of it mounted in a turbo buick would be great
thanks
mike

it is not really that simple.:frown:

The bracket uses a longer replacement bolt bolt and spacer from the water pump to anchor it at the top.

The bottom support uses a hex rod about 4-5" long that replaces the bottom timing cover bolt/stud.

Maybe someone with a V-4 could make you the parts? Most of the local group of GN guys now have front mounts and do not have easy access to a V-4.

If you cannot come up with anything, let me know and I will try to locate one for a pattern.:)

Please do not PM me, call or e-mail direct.

I just sold a new one a month ago .. bracket is one thing but ya need the rest like Nick said .. here are some pics I had sent the guy that bought mine to give ya an idea.

I had that pass side bracket actually crack/break on me several years ago, so I took it to a machine shop & had them make me a new one out of steel(original one was aluminum). They flattened out mt cracked/broken bracket to make the template for the new one & I still have that flattened one around here somewhere....I could trace it onto a piece of paper & send it to you'd like a template...If so, just pm me your shipping address....

The Darkside:cool:

I still make everything if you need the stuff email me.
See ya, Kip

The V4 is a great SLIC, and worth the time to fab some parts to have.

Naaaa!

I thought you needed a front mount to run fast ?? :p V4s are GREAT !!

You want to take as much weight off the front of the car as possible.
It helps with the weight transfer, ya know;) :D .
