This has been brought up before but I don't remember if it was actually settled. Do any 200-4Rs have worm track casting differences? I bought a 3 OG code 200-4R with the BOP only bell housing, It's a fresh stock rebuild that was in the car for a couple months and the car was totalled. Trans was nearly free and I happen to have a CZ VB, plate, gov and servo. I was going to throw all that in it and just thrash it 'till it's gone in my V8 cutlass, but I remember a discussion awhile back about worm track differences in early cases. Is this really an issue? If it is then I will just grind down the gov weights and block the accumulators and really tear it a new one. Not a big loss if it won't work. Thanks in advance.

I never noticed a difference on an OG. I never checked a real early one with a single pattern. I doubt they are different though. Chris or Bruce should have more info on this.

You are fine...

Anyone else?

The cases are the same. Just bolt in your CZ vb and Gov and go. (Maybe the servo also.) The cases are the same with the exception of the bolt pattern on the bell. Most are multi pattern but some ( mostly deisels) were BOP only.
Hope this helps answer your question.
