caspers audible knock gauge stays on at start sometimes?

yes has anyone had this problem and how to fixit ?sometimes when I turn my car on the beep stays on I have to turn the car off and on again .thanks in advance like always.

Be sure to wire the positive feed of the unit to a RADIO or ACCESSORY feed. One that turns off during cranking and on only when the key is in the RUN position.

If you don't turn it off during cranking, it can malfunction.
