caspers thumbwheel chip question

i have had a caspers 7 position thumbwheel chip setup for stock injectors for a TTA-

i need to get it reburned for 50's for the regal-

anyway, i looked at it today, and it appears that there are 2 chips, one on the top, and one on the bottom...

so i assume that the top chip pulls off and the top one is the one that gets reburned right?

just wondering because ive never messed with them-

if i were to purchase a 16 position chip, would my 7 position thumbwheel work for 7 positions?

The top comes out and can be sent back for a re-burn for injectors, timing, fueling ....etc. Or Casper's can make one for you and just send it to you... What version do have, Version 3 or Version 4 ... ?
