CCCI Ignition Simulator

I just received one of these testers without any instructions. What is the proper way to use this?

Set it on top of the coilpak/ignition module combination, plug in the plug, connect the leads positive to positive, neg to neg. and turn it on. Should have a spark on all three contact points to indicate a good unit.
