Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2003 Club Picnic at the Central Florida Zoo. Weather-wise, it turned out to be the exact opposite of last year: we had early pre-dawn rain, and then it held off for the rest of the afternoon and was nice. Everyone enjoyed the great food and hospitality at the zoo, except maybe a ridiculous 5.0 Mustang owner who did a couple flyby burnouts in front of the pavillion. The club was able to pick up the tab on everyones zoo admission, which is just a small way we can say thanks for your support.
Special thanks to the Savino family, who broke away from the activities to help club member William Lamb who drove his 10 sec. GN all the way from Ft. Pierce to have it break down only a few miles from the zoo. William and his wife got a ride from a stranger the last few miles to make it on time. Bill & Mike Savino helped William fix the bad wheel bearing and start the journey back after the picnic.
Overall, everything a Buick meeting should be, fun, helping each other out, etc.
