Center Caps

Does anyone know if the later 86-87 center caps fit on the old 84-85 rims? I am missing one of my center caps and one of the inlays on one of my other caps fell off....the tri-shield caps are near impossible to find, and around $85 when you do find them. Im thinking of just switching over to the new caps.

Get creative!

I have GN center caps on Centerline Telestar rims. Bend metal, make something, whatever it takes. OK, I lost one and learned.

You are talking about the alloy wheels,right? The 84-85 alloy GN wheel uses the same cap as the 86-87 alloy T-Type-Turbo T wheel. The 86-87 GN cap is held on by the lug nuts and you would have to get really creative to get it to fit on the alloys. A cheap alternative is to use the aftermarket brand X GTA caps on the alloys.
