Center support case snap ring

I thought I remembered reading bout this , but could be wrong..
Just pulled apart the CZF and I noticed the snap ring was very difficult to remove from the case groove.
I am uncertain of weather it was because of the actual posistion of the center suport or the ring/groove was just a very tight fit...I forgot to test fit it back in the empty case wich is all wrapped up for the moment..

Has any one experienced this?
everything that followed looked undamaged , like to say something was forcing it forward.

Just kinda thinking outloud here in case somone has some input.The KCF i pulled apart came quite easy.

Its not that difficult to remove. If the snap ring was installed after the center support bolts it could be holding the center support too far forward in the case. Always put the beveled retaining snap ring in first then the retaining bolts

Cool, I will keep that in mind..also after I get the cases clean , I will double check the snap ring..
