Central Ohio Turbo Buick "Club" Get Together

Ok, Ok. Next get together is at my house this Saturday at Noon. I'll have the grille going with hot dogs and brats. BYOB(everage). There is enough parking in my driveway for another ~7 (black) cars. This is in Gahanna (rhymes with banana) on the East side of Columbus. (The republic of Ghana is in Africa, Bruce.)

Take I-70 or I-71 to I-270 towards Easton (the new big shopping district), exit at Morse Road going East. At 2nd traffic light after you've gotten on Morse rd, turn Right on Stygler Road and go about 2/3 of a mile. After you have passed the two entrances to the Limited's headquarters, the first street on the right is Wendler. Turn here and go up the hill continuing about 1/4 of a mile...the road will do a 90* turn to the left, then immediately turn left onto Gahanna Highlands dr. - fifth house on your left.

Scott will be showing the "TSM" video's he took at '03 Nationals. When he runs out of hot dogs (for appetizers), he will be serving "filet mignion a-la mesquite" with garlic mash, garlic bread along with your ice cold Bud.

Turbo talk encouraged and new '04 TSM discussions and suggestions will be put on the table... NO BURNOUTS, NO WHEELIES AFTER 4AM IN HIS BLOCK, PLEASE.

Kewl sounds good Scott. I figure I can put a tow strap on the Buick and have Tracy tow me and the Buick to the cookout. At least then I can show up in the car.

Scott and I were talking about letting you guys take swings at my car with a sledge for $2 a pop. Figure that will help me get the new car fund started and it will help you guys get a little Buick frustration out.

Cereally folks, I have brats, franks, fixings, chips, cups, plates and napkins. If you got a fold up chair, you can bring that. In honor of Jeremy's offer to grill at the BPG T&T session being inadvertantly cancelled, I'll let Jer do the cooking on my grille.

This invite goes out to anyone willing to travel to the East side of Columbus with a TR, black or not, be they from 'Central Ohio', Cinci, Cleveland or ? that can make it with this short of a notice. I just need a show of hands for food.

The surgery went well, whew.

I think there would be some agreement that an Escort really can't be painted Black. Maybe some Ford shade of something that looks sort of black, but not really Black

Hey,you guys know that there will a ton of Mopars in Columbus this weekend, can you say street beatings with the v6 . My friends who are Mopar diehards want me to meet up with them on Sat nite. I might drive the GN down there[went 11.80s at the BPG test&tune at only 17lbs of boost,full street trim] Brice road is the cruise spot for them. Lets see....a little 231 cu.in. moter killing the big bad Hemi . I have to work on Sat till around 3-4 so I couldnt make the cookout,but I might be in the area later

I remember your car from the BPG track rental (I was running the lights for you on a few passes). Sweeet ride!

Unfortunately, the Mopar event will be in full swing during the day when our get together is going on. My understanding is that you don't really want to go out onto Brice rd on the nights of the Mpoar nats as those guys get crazy out on the road with no respect for safety.

Cant Bring the TTA, have to work afterwards and the Escort has been broken into twice in the parking lot wt the theater. Damn rookies tore the hell out of my passenger door last time. No way will I park the TTA in that Lot.

Its black... sorry. I know this for a fact. We sprayed it a month or so ago. BEfore the new paint job, nobody ever looked at the car. After the paint job, 2 break ins! I dunno why, its still a 93 Escort, nothign special inside either.
