A couple members ask about different looks of ceramic coating.

One of these is hand polished and the other is vibratory polished. It is the same material. ( Cermachrome ) The hand polished look you can do at home.

Ronnie, On a semi related note How do you think the High temp powder would hold up on the turbine housing.

Too much heat.....most legit high temp powders are silicone based and you really don't want that around. Contamination and such.

They are making improvements 800 to 1200 deg stuff, but long tern it will chalk,get brittle and crack/ delaminate. A non turbo gas/alky street/ race= 1200 deg. max Barring bad tune.
+ or -. Egt. not metal temp. But our turbo cars 1600-1700 + or -Egt.

Looks good, I like the later of the two..the hand rubbed version, looks almost satin like brushed aluminum.
