Since heat riser is filled on drivers side head on champion irons, any problems using stock style lwr intake with functional egr? Would egr valve be basicly an appearance item only?

EGR cannot function with the hole filled in...if emissions allow in your area you could remove the EGR and use a blockoff plate which looks nice. Keep the EGR in case you need it later though.

I realize most aftermarket chips today block egr codes or can be setup to.Im just trying to decide which path to take.Delete egr or open passage in head.I was curious of any headaches with head plugged?

The last time that I talked to Tom at Champion, EGR functional Champ irons could be ordered, just not the aluminum GN1's.

Yes you are correct about the irons. The ones I bought are used and plugged,I believe, awaiting shippment this week.
