Champion iron heads

How far can you deck your iron heads and intake to get a little compression bump? Has anyone done this?

I would recommend going with a single steel shim head gasket from RJC Racing to accomplish your goals.

Also check valve lash afterwards since deck height will have changed.

Stock (48cc) with stock gasket .060" = 8.122cr

Stock " with 1 steel shim .018" = 8.79 cr
