Change stall on 63E?

Right now I have a 3500 stall. I am thinking of restalling my Vigilante to a 3200. My car goes through the traps between 5300 and 5500 RPMs Anybody have any advice?

I wouldn't change the stall. That is about right for a 63. Plus, you wouldn't even notice the difference up top, you would notice the extra lag at bottom. If you want to lower your rpms at the top of the 1/4 go to a taller tire.

unless you are running 130+ in the quarter, something is not right...you are locking the converter, right?

(with mine locked, I am at 52-5400 at 128 mph....I have 27" tires)

I have not locked the converter yet. I was planning on locking it the next time out to see if that helps.
