Sounds like something's loose/unplugged.. I would go back over everything, check every bot, sensor, hose, etc..

Wait until tomorrow, and go over it all..

Nothing unusual in idel and first gear? Can you describe what it's doing a in a little more detail?

shifts great spins the tires and all
then just falls on its face like theres no power at all
stumbles realy bad

Could be a bad MAF, fuel pump/delivery, coil pack or module.

Plugs and wires.

Since you have never seen the car perform normally it makes troubleshooting much more difficult.

Since you seem confident in your recent work I would suspect a defective part on the car.

i was trying agin black smoke at shift to 2nd
feels like it way too rich but im guessing

black smoke is rich-

what plugs did you put in it?

got a boost gauge? does the boost drop and then the black smoke come out?

what computer chip is in the car? maybe that is why the headgasket went in the first place?

Have fuel pressure gauge? Possibly you need a new fuel pump. Could have caused HG failure in the first place. Check fuel filter.

It sounds like a fuel problem to me.

Since you bought the car with a blown head gasket I would do a compression test.

Good Luck
