I've decided to switch from 50 (high impedence) to 72#(low impedence). I know the injector drivers don't need any changes.

When I enter the new injector size into the ECU, will it automatically recalculate the VE table for me?

duh, I search the archive and found the answer.

- just change the injector parameter
-might have to tweak the VE a LITTLE
-change parameters that use time/ms such as start fuel

Exactly. That's all I had to do when I went from 55's to 83's. And I figured out a "ratio" of 83/55 to figure out the new time parameters. It worked pretty good.

Inj change

The answer to your ? is "no", the ve table will not be automatically corrected for the new inj size. You have to do that.

The new inj's may have a bit of a different idle flow rate, due to the size and relatively short Pw at idle. You may have to clean that area up on the maps.
