Anyone see that flick with Ben Afleck/Samuel Jackson? It was OK. The point is, do you think it's really possible to do what Ben's character did when he hired the guy to hack into Jackson's personal files and totally ruin his credit and all that?

I haven't seen the movie but "identity theft" is a real thing and can cause all types of trouble and many of these corporate entities are not as "secure" as they should be, so hacking them is a possibility. Most of the time, these types go for whatever information they can just happen to get their hands on so targeting a specific individual would be more difficult, but I'm sure it could be done.
