thanks janis but i think the one i have works fine...i put the car back together and now it shifts through all gears... the only issue im have now was before when i would drive the car like at 10 mph and step on it. the car would downshift until it redlined then it would shift...now it seem like it wont downshift and stay in the gear im at. i hope it might have something to do with having my speedo unplugged since my cable is damage.im going to get the new cable tomorrow and see what happens.

ok the issue wasnt the speedometer it was the TV cable. i reset the position of the cable, push the gas pedal heard the click. and now its running fine.. and also chirp 3 gear which it never did before... thanks guys for all your help... for now i can enjoy the car but in the future ill still drop the tranny and have it done right. just gives me more time to put the money away.
