Where you located? One of us should have a scantool that would help. You basically drive and someone else reads the info.

I think Donnie (Donwg) is near you as well as several others. Check out the southwest section of the forum and add your location in your user controls.

thanx so do they still sell these scan masters for our cars ? if so who can i buy one from?

You can get a scan master from several of the vendors. Check at the bottom of the main page and click on the links.

TRBL Code Flash Pattern

The above link takes you to a good source of info but it doesn't clearly explain how to decipher the flashing Check Engine light. How do you express a two digit number (e.g., 12) with only one light? It's been a while since I've done this but here goes;

It's sort of like Morse Code - the first digit is expressed with long flashes and the second digit with short-duration flashes. In other words, 12 will be expressed with one long flash followed by two quick flashes. As the instructions show, 12 will be flashed three times at the beginning, followed by any stored trouble codes then the sequence ends by flashing 12 three times again. Follow the instructions in the link already provided and you should be fine.

A scan tool will translate it for you but there's no waiting with the 'jumper method'.

Good luck.

ok guys i know this is an old thread but problem still exist its code 24 VSS what does this mean? and how can i fix this? is it basically a bad sensor?
