check engine light???

My car runs fine i say 98% of the time, but every so often the check engine light will come on when starting the car. I went to the car wash last night and the light came on, and when it comes on the car accelerates really slow. So slow i cant even burn rubber going into second gear. Also the turbo does spool up, but the car is just slow when this happens. When it does come on, it normally comes on a few seconds after i turn the car on. Does this happen to anyone else?

Sounds like you need to pull the code or hook up a scan tool and see what the car is trying to tell you.

You can pull the codes off the car's computer using just a paper clip.....
